Commission for 40 menu covers to accommodate frequently replaced pages for seasonal menus. Client was an independent restaurant in Pittsburgh, PA. Designed menu construction, used archival bookbinding techniques, and hand-painted and lettered each cover (front and back). Individually handmade, each piece unique.

With an interest in libraries, literature, and the physical qualities of books, I produced work at Hunt Library, Fine & Rare Book Room, Carnegie Mellon University, and also took commissions to produce unique book arts. This portfolio includes some examples of craftsmanship and engineering of archival enclosures for precious, and frequent-use, designs.
